Padraig Harrington will be inducted into the Golf Hall of Fame, it has been announced.
News broke on Wednesday that Harrington will be inducted and will cap off a legendary career.
The Dublin golfer won the first of his three major titles in Carnoustie in 2007 when he beat Sergio Garcia in a play-off to win the Open.
Harrington would defend the title a year later at Royal Birkdale in a commanding performance.
The Stackstown man did not have to wait long as he captured his third major three weeks later, winning the PGA Championship and was awarded the 2008 PGA Golfer of the year.
He would also go on to play in the Ryder Cup six times and ended up on the winning team on four occasions.
Harrington also captained Europe in 2021.
Since becoming eligible for the Champions Tour, Harrington has also scooped four wins, including the U.S. Senior Open.
